I am not a diary person. I do not like to write down my thoughts/experiences, fearful that I will hurt someone's feelings or I will feel stupid reading what I wrote two years later. So why am I writing now? For the past five years I have wanted to write a book to leave to my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. After watching countless, and I mean countless, ball games; I believe there are life lessons I have learned and my children have learned from playing baseball.
I find it only fitting that these lessons should be documented and written into innings, so here goes. I thought by blogging these ideas, it will give me a foundation to begin my book. Please feel free to leave your opinion. I guess you can look at it like I'm the umpire calling the game and you're the spectator yelling from the stands. Feel free to yell & cheer!
